Hi! My problem is that Rider eats much and is still so skinny. Have you got any advice how to make the dog put on some weight? I give him Royal Canin Maxi Adult + some chicken it's him: gus thanks for any tips Patricia

I don't think he's skinny at all. I like them on the lean side. He could have a bit more body though, but that's the way he's build I think.

I don't think he looks skinny either. Going by the DOB on your website, he's still only a young dog so will fill out in time.
When I look back at old pictures of my dogs, I remember thinking at the time how well they looked but when I look at the pictures now I can see how immature they looked especially my male. He was a big boy and didn't really look the part until around 3 years of age. He was all legs and no body for a long time and just couldn't compete with the smaller males who looked more 'finished' than him at a younger age.

I think the body is great! One of my 3pack works off everything, even though I feed him more! Nice metabolism to have, eh?

I'd love to have his metabolism, then! Giving him more and more food doesn't work. I guess you are right, It's just the way he is built. We'll see what happens when he gets older thanks! Patrycja
