your a genius :-)
Ok this one has really stumped me and I'm normally pretty good on the american ped's:
Am/Can Ch Mischievous Misty Am & Can UDT, RD
she is featured in Seneca's Medicine Mans Pedigree at third generation but none of my books have her listed.

how you getting on mike?? Currently double checking and straightening out titles (was a bit lazy there!) Not as much fun as going through for the first time though!! ;D Interesting to see what the modern writing is like, very interesting. Sorry, don't follow you?

thanks, was just starting to trawl through my american mags for some reason eilatan's dog don't feature in the pictorial histories which is surprising as they are from the right era.
Sorry mike meant conformation and shape (doing too many things at once again ;D)

Hi Tasha
When you refer to American mags, which do you mean? I think I read earlier that you said they were AKC Gazettes? Is that right?
Did you order back issues which had Weimaraner features?

oh no these are the weimaraner club of america magasines and the weimaraner club of americas pictorial history volumes 1, 2 and 3 I've yet to find out if they printed 4 although I do remember that it was being collated when I collected the third one a few years back.
I've got the club mags going back to the 1960's but have several missing so if anyone is selling their book collection or wants to give their breed pedigrees or kennel notes I can promise them a good and loving home where they will be cherished... that goes for any of the weims around the world.
Bonus about the club mags is you get alot of pictures in them and personal bits and bobs you don't get just looking at a pedigree sheet from one of the stud books.

The Blue Ribbon editions? This is what I thought you meant but earlier you mentioned something about the American Kennel Club magazines.......... I am a member of the WCA and would love to get back copies of the BR editions. I added a few more to my collection when I went to the Nationals this year but would love to get copies going back to the '60s. Out of interest, how have you built your collection?

The old fashioned way... I brought someone elses haha! I was lucky enough to find a promient english breeder who very generously parted with her collection and I have to say they are very much a loved collection in my library. I have both the monthly editions and the blue ribbon editions mainly from the mid 1970's but there are a few scattered editions from the 60's and 50's along with the pictorial histories which cover from the start of the breed into the states.
I don't collect the pet sort of things but books.. well they last forever given a bit of loving care and attention. I'm looking forward to the day when I pass the collection I have on to someone else who will cherish them, but it will be a long way off into the future :-)
