I got our confirmation in the mail 2 days ago. So I guess we are in! Now we only have to get there. ;D
We were hoping that maybe Mr Wetdog could come to Austria and meet me and Audry there for the weekend, but his schedule does not allow him to do that this time. So Audry and I will have to take lots of pictures for him.

I was just wondering, for those who will be there, could we have a meeting or something afterwards, or on the first or the last day of the show? Maybe a walk in Vienna, take lots of nice pics of the dogs in the spectacular city, and drop by an outdoor cafe and just have a nice little Weim meeting? Or will everyone be too busy and tired?

Cool! There was also a suggestion to visit the Grafenegg castle where Weims were bred in Austria. That is a very pretty place, but we'd have to ask Jaeger to give us directions (especially because I didn't manage to save our chat last night where he told me how to get there ).

This is also a nice experience for all breeders, I guess ! I come with my German friend, and she told me that the Wiener Wald forest is great to let the dogs out ! But we have to watch out, because many deers lives in that wood. Another idea: We should can have some chat after the Eurodogshow and share all our experiences of the day. I guess most of the people will not drive home the day of the show.

Woohoo, 25 SH's and 5 LH's as of today! Magda, there is yet another puppy, a male, now. Wow!
Kobie, DEFINITELY would love to meet up and discuss the imressions after the ring. I always wanted to do that but everyone seems to disappear once the judging is over.

Hi I hope that 25 is not the the end Unfortunately we haven't received confirmation by post yet but I hope that everything is ok and Lola is registered. Two australian girls in puppy class ;D, I am wondering if Lola's sister from Croatia will be there too I know that there will be at least 4 weimaraners from Poland: Lola, Nasti's half brother - Diuk z Bobiecinskiego Lasu (Champion class), Nasti's half sister - Fraza Kacze Gniazdo (middle or open class) and one more male (middle class) magda

Hi Irena, Ilana and maybe other members, Can we plan the visit with our dogs to Vienna on Friday ? We can maybe meet on a local place, any sugestions are welcome. We will probably have nice weather next week, this Friday 29 °C, read next link for weather in Vienna www.weathernews.nl/wow/weer.asp?stad=1658Kobie

Hi Kobie,
Its can be nice but i do not think it is a good idea to let the dogs run at the forest and play all together with full power befor a show, mybe we can walk with the dogs at the city or other nice place

You are right about that ! We can not take the chance that something would happen to our dogs, the day before showing. Anyhow, if we visit Vienna, we can only walk trough the city with the dogs on a lich. It would sertainly be a very nice spot to take photos ! Best Regards

Trouble is that I cannot imagine how we will meet each other anywhere on Friday!!! My phone # is +371 9779535 if anyone wants to give me a call. Maybe make it Saturday after the show? If we rest the dogs and ourselves some, we may still have the whole evening for a nice walk in Vienna? Or not really? Anyhow, my biggest concern is how we will meet each other on Friday, but if that is do-able, then I`m all for it too! Or Sunday, doesn't matter to me. We could arrange to meet at a certain place at the show at a certain time. Say, at the same ring where on Saturday Weims will be judged? I wonder if dogs will be allowed to enter the show grounds when it is not their day.

We could also meet at a certain hotel. Maybe that's easier, because on the show, there will be probably more than one entrie and like you said, maybe are the dogs not allowed at another day, so I guess a entrie of a hotel would be better. My hotel adress is between Tulln and Vienna (Klosterneuburg). Richard Tiefenbacher Schubertgasse 20 (Martinsfriedhof) A-3400 Klosterneuburg, Österreich
My mobile is 0032 472 51 83 50
What do you think !??

Hi Kobie,
The problem with me is that I am travelling with our Kennel Club, so I don't have a car to drive around in - they will take us to the show, drop us off and then pick us up, and I don't even know which hotel we are staying in yet. So for me the best would be to meet everyone on the show grounds and then decide where we are going. Or meet at least SOMEBODY on the show grounds!!

How will you visit Vienna, if you don't have a car to drive with ?? It would be no trouble to pick you up, but we do not have any space anymore in our car (2 benches and 2 persons + baggage). I'm sertainly interested into a chat after the dog show and charing our meanings about the judgments that day.
