Daniela asked me if I could move the Crufts thread a little bit up to the top of the screen, so people would notice it! Good idea I'd say.
I have decided to make a whole new topic for it. Please post whether you'll be there or not and maybe it's a nice idea for you lot to meet somewhere. This is a great opportunity to meet some forum members I'd say.
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it due to the litter, but I will be there next year. Both my girls are International champion, which means they've qualified for life!

It's good to see so many people from the forum are going but as we are all in different classes at different times, any suggestions on a time to meet up? Maybe if the judge breaks for lunch that would be a good opportunity but there is no guarantee that she will stop for a break.

The best way to meet is in the neighbourhood of one of the Weimaranerclubs, who probably will have a stand at th ringside. Set a time and if one of the Euroweim members make a sign with the Ëuroweims" tekst on it. Keep it up high at the right time and you will find each other

Hello Stranger! I think there is about 260 Weimaraners and judging starts at 8.30am so I reckon, given previous entries of that figure, I reckon we are looking at around 3-4pm finish. If you are travelling home that night allow an hour to get out of the car park! It's massive! So are we any further on deciding a place to meet? I am wondering whether it's going to be easier if we all just look out for each other in the catalogue, so we can find bench numbers but that doesn't help those from the forum who are just visiting.....

True, I had thought about this too but it does get pretty busy around these stands and if we were all to meet here we would narrow the gangways and get in everyone's way!

Hi, I will be there too... with my tikka (Kidmal Caol Ila) She is in Post Grad bitch. Would love to meet up with you all. Although I have met you Daniela in a roundabout way. Maybe we could all wear a small yellow sticker on our collar...? or something along those lines. Lynn

For every solution for a meeting point you can always find a new difficulty. It was my five cents, please do it better

I am not trying to be obstinate for the sake of it. As my works involves the organisation of this event, I know that if we were all to congregate by one of the breed stands we would cause a huge obstruction in the gangway. This would not only cause a bottleneck of human traffic through the gangway but would prevent exhibitors getting to their benches to see their dogs and also prevent customers getting to the breed stands.
So this is not a case of me trying to be difficult, I am merely suggesting that if we are to organise something, we have to consider the needs of all those around us. I for one would not want to be one of a huge group of people, in the way of someone who needed to get to their dog on the bench in an emergency.
I think Lynn has hit the nail on the head with her suggestion of wearing a sticker. I think this would work best for many of us; as some of us are showing and some us are there as spectators and thus cannot all be around at the same time to meet. It would also give us all the opportunity to meet people at our own free will. What ho?
