Hi all!
I get great new from UK. Today on Cruft Drake's sister won res. Best bitch out of 131 entered bitches!! Winner of bitches was Enryb Halloween Party at Riverton and she get also BOB. Best of dogs was Easdale Ridge - pure Sireva line ;D Congrats also to Goya which get res. best dog!

Congratulations to all Weim owners and breeders that took part.

I watched BBC2's coverage on the telly....even the extended judging, just to get a sighting of a Weim. Very disappointing coverage, to me anyway, because they hardly showed any at all.

Well, even though we didn't manage to arrange a meeting point, I think many of us managed to scope each other out in the end which was great!

It was a long day and I wasn't in until around the end of the day but we took third in Open Bitch, which I was more than pleased with as it was my bitch's first time competing against the 'big girls' in this class in the UK and she now has her stud book number.

.....and João of Casa de Juno, well, you made it on to TV here ;D Your interview was broadcast on the BBC! I dunno eh, you come all the way from Portugal, win all the prizes and then make a guest appearance on TV. Sheesh. ;D ;D ;D you should change your name to Jose Mourinho.

Joking aside, it was so lovely to meet up with so many of you. I was happy that my girl was placed but I was more happy to make many european connections.

To next year!

And we were there, on Cruft's We've had one of the greates trip
ever as we spent SO LOVELY time with Nina & Duncan & Luke in the UK
And we saw our little beauty Anya after 4 months!
And Cruft's...a great experience, realy the biggest show in the World
although...we are still not fans of english type (as we have
australian/american lines, so you can understand this, I hope:)
We are so happy that we had a chance to meet friends from all over the world!
It was so nice to talk and talk and talk about dogs! And here are
some photos of Anya at 14 months (Rio Concha Fala Love'a At Alkemist), stacked by a
great handler Peter King from Australia (owner of our Lola's
grandfather - AustGrandCh Greysouthen Kings Legend) and Nordic -
Anya's father, also with Peter. And there are also we all (almost):
Anna-Lena&Bjorn with Nordic, Duncan with Anya, Peter King, me (Magda)
and Nina with Jensen

Hope that some day there will be other then english judge and
then we will be there too...but with our grey gang:)

Here we are back From Crufts.

It was a wonderful experience Specially because we came back with great results!

And, we can't complain about the english Judges. our Dog Goya that got Reserve CC is tottally American ( Smokey City X Colsidex ) and also his daughter Gracie got 1st in Special Juniors Class, she is half English half american.

It was great to see all thse Grey ones all together

we will be back next year for sure


And Daniela, it is a shame we couldn't see the interview on TV. we don't have BBC2 here

Congratulations CasadeJuno, you must be so proud of your boy (and girl). Goya looked, to me, to fit in very well with the other English dogs in the open class. Very few American style dogs are placed at English shows, including Crufts, so a big well done one your achievement.

Crufts this year is the busiest that I have ever seen it. Anya and Jensen did 2 hours meeting the public on the 'discover dogs' section, and it was exhausting talking non-stop to others about Weimaraners. However the highlight for me and Duncan was sharing the Crufts experience with Magda and Krzysiek, meeting Anyas father, and his owners, and receiving such a great handling lesson from Peter (and he gave us lots of nice comments about Anya too). Beats any other Crufts we have been to for that. We also met Daniela, and a few other friends.

I have only just read the results and well done to everyone. Joao what a great achievement to do so well at your first time at Crufts. I would love to go to Crufts. I am going to be in England next April but it will be too late for Crufts unfortunately.
