Hans Muller is the President of FCI and he comes from Switzerland. I think (hope) that they will not give 2nd judge for SH maybe longhaired will be judged by someone else... It seems like Poznan is going to be one of the biggest shows (or the biggest in FCI??) !!! And SO MANY weimaraners...I just can't wait to see so many grey beauties in one ring Magda

Mhm Gunalt! Will be very interesting to see her!!! I am hoping that they will not change the judge too! It is interesting why he will be judging weimaraners... Will be interesting to get his description! This information was given by one girl from the other forum, she found it somewhere in the internet: Hans W. Müller - Switzerland Offices and activities in the field of Cynology - Active in the world of pure bred dogs since 1958 - Breeder of different breeds (Hovawart, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Cocker Spaniels) - Prefix "Kianga" - Allround judge, Special judge for numerous breeds *), Best-in-Show judge - Activities as judge in many countries of Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa and Latinamerica - Judge on the occasion of several World and Section Shows of the F.C.I. - Organizer of many important Shows, i.e. F.C.I. World Dog 1994 in Berne - Founder and president of several breed clubs (i.e. Rhodesian Ridgeback of Switzerland) - Member of the board of directors of the Swiss Kennel Club from 1972 until 1997 (25 years) - President of the Swiss Kennel Club from 1982 - 1997 (15 years) - Member of the General Committee of the F.C.I. since 1982 - President of the F.C.I. since 1984 - Writer for different dog magazines *) Special judge for the following breeds: Rhodesian Ridgeback, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, Swiss Hounds, English Pointer, all Setter breeds, Magyar Vizsla, all Spaniel breeds and varieties, Lagotto Romagnolo etc. .... I can't see any weimaraner mentioned in his descripion...

My friend called Kennel Club in Poznan and she was told that there are 2 judges for weims: puppies and juniors are judged by Horst Kliebenstein (Germany), other classes by Hans Muller...

HI Horst Kleibenstein judged here in South Australia in January 2000 and awarded our Rumour (Gr Ch Divani Rumour Has It TD) bitch challenge (best bitch) and Runner Up Best of Breed. From my records there were 9 bitches entered. I don't have a record who the Best Of Breed (best dog) was. "Rumour' is an elegant, substantial bitch so my prediction will be he will probably like the beautiful "Boogie". Here is a photo of Rumour taken 3 years when she was 10 Years old. Lois I hope I haven't made too many spelling errors as my computer glasses have been eaten by a wicked little 'Wasabi"

Lois, Thanks. A pity for Boogie, because she is out of Junior class !! Mr. Liebenstein only judges the junior and puppies ! Is Rumor a small bitch ?

I saw that Mr. Kliebenstein gave 3 points major at this show in USA to "Tampa" (Multi Ch.Unity's Grey Classic's Double Trouble),Edwin's male from Belgium. And as far as i know 3 weeks ago Mr. Kliebenstein gave to beautiful "Allegro " from the junior class: BOB+BIS in the Budessiegerschau 2006 - Tulln- Austria out of 3,000 dogs So i don't think that a docked tails will be a problem

Iza, Magda, maybe you could help us a little? Yesterday we all received letters by mail from Poznan ( Jurate, Adatele and I ) saying about the entrance and confirmation, but neither Jurate, nor Adatele received their rosettes with pedigree brand and number to stick on. As I understand, they did not understand my email, in which ALL three entry forms were filled and attached with bank transfer ( 120 Eur) for all three dogs. Now they are writing something about payments again!!! What the hell:) So if one of you could help, I'd give more details about us privately, if not, I would call myself them on Monday:)

Well, there is written on the paper we got from Poznañ that if you haven't got your number you are asked to go to hall 14B to show them payment and get your number etc So probably you will have to do it and everything will be OK If you paid for the entry and you have the copy of payment you shouldn't be worry:)
