Thank you all, we are really really happy! No other weims showed up at this show, maybe they were afraid of the judge lol. The only one that didn't belong to us was Juscanis Meta Optata ad Colsidex, she bellongs to Actors Weimaraners in Brasil and she was sent to Portugal to mate with Rudy. she is daughter of Colsidex the Farm Top of the Mark and Juscanis Winston Fiat Justitia. she will stay for a few months, trying to do her Portuguese Champion Title and then return to Brasil after one litter. here is a picture of her after her arrival in Portugal

Big congratulations to you! No other weims showed up at this show, maybe they were afraid of the judge lol. Why so? I think Göran Bodegård was a nice judge when I showed Aku to him. And he gave Aku his first CAC although I thought Aku was mostly only long legs at that time (12 months old) ;D

Hi Emma, here is Portugal it works more or less like this, when people know a judge is more fond of Americans they simply don't show up ( which is very sad ). we used to have 30 weims in a ring which was good for Portugal but now, most of them don't show up anymore Hi weima, yes, we will probably see you in Crufts, we just didn't decide yet the dogs we will take. we inscribed 3 but not sure if we ake them all, we will decide this in the last minut

Juscanis Meta Optata ad Colsidex here is a picture of her after her arrival in Portugal Beautiful girl! here is Portugal it works more or less like this, when people know a judge is more fond of Americans they simply don't show up In Lithuania it is a bit different, they change the judges almost every time, so registering to the show you are expecting one judge, but one week before the show you just simply find out that judge was changed, and then it is you right to decide to take a chance or not, well I am always entering! I just like shows

Rute, I see. But I don´t think Aku is very american in type and still Göran liked him. So I think it is better to do like Jurate, go to the show no matter who is the judge. Just as long as I have my handler with me... personally I don´t like the show ring

Hi Graham, It really is a great feeling ! you can see by our expressions how happy we were Just before the speaker anounced the BIS I was eatting my fingers behind the podium, I had some friends that came behind me saying " it was the Husky that won, don't be sad... " lol they were making fun of me because they already knew! ahahahhahah We had a big party after lol, isn't that the good part of the shows? lol

For those of you lucky people going to Crufts, I realise there are many many people there. If you happen to meet a lady called Mrs Carmen Kingston, who is an International judge, attends Crufts every year & has judged at Crufts in recent years. She loves her Weimies as she calls them. Introduce yourselves and tell her that we all communicate on this website. She will almost certainly be watching the Wei judging. She can provide you an insight into the Weis in Australia. Regards Graham
