Hi,
In Lithuania we now have 8 months old weim boy for adoption as he hadn't had any obedience training still have some behavior problems, but still very young and hopefully will find new owners that would give some more time than 3x10min walk a day... As his today owners bought his when saw a blue eyes puppy and didn't knew anything about the breed so now it is like it is - they can not handle with him...
Don't know his mane, but as we do not have many litters in Lt I think, according to his age his parents are: sire - BOSAS – BOHUN Grodziski Raj Weimarski Dam - PERLA – ENEIDA
If anyone from our neighborhood countries are interesting please contact me by email jurate.rancyte@gmail.com I will give more information as owners can be reach only by mobile phone - Kestutis, tel. +370 686 49609 Boy now lives in Kaunas, Lithuania

Those numbers are crazy - why, oh why do people do such stupid things - no commitment or stick ability and the poor dogs suffer. The one good thing is that there is a very committed Rescue Service!!! Thanks guys - you are all doing a great job!!!!!

Have you tried putting your young dog on www.dogpages.co.uk they are a rehoming site and I have had enquiries from there. Put his details on all and any websites that you can. I have an advert in adtrader (this is a local free newspaper with anything and everything for sale.) If you have anything similar you could try that. Get people to put posters in vets, pet shops and other places where doggie people might go. I do wish you the very best of luck in finding your boy a new home. It is so hard at this time of year. I will try to do it. Well the main problem is that he does not live with me, as his old owners still keeps him as hopes to get back money for the dog from people that would take him, and it is that no one will buy it I am sure, and the second thing, he is out of dam that is from our local weimaraner puppy mill where two the same dogs are bred together now every heat for about 3-4 years, and without any health or hunting tests, and these two dogs have temperament faults male is aggressive and a bitch is very shy... But I think it is impossible to teach him to hunt because his sire is from Poland, but the last problem is that most of the people that wanted a dog wanted him for breeding even hunters as I am looking for new owners mostly in a hunters sides... So the best thing to do it would spay him before he leaves to new home, but still if I decide to do it I would have to do it from my own money and I still have some doubts maybe he would mature to nice dog.... Oh it is so hard...

Hi all,
My girlfriend and I are looking for a Weimaraner puppy or possibly adopt. We live in Mauritius and would have to import the dog. At this stage we are just looking and would like to get as much information for around the world. Can you point me in the direction of good breeders and or adoption possibilities. A very important criteria is that the dog has a vet certificate that states it is in good health.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Last week I met a couple with a weim-pup, we started talking and they asked if I trained my weim, first puppy training, than obedience and now hunting training, they looked at me "is a weimaraner a hunting dog???" So sad, I am not a hunter but I do everyting to let my weim practice her natural skills!
