Hi all, It has been a while since I was here and I am afraid I have defected to another Brittany pup rather than a weim!!!!
Chase is 9 weeks old and from good working lines - I have deliberately chosen a good working line pup as I want to branch in to working my dog.
I know he isn't a weim but finding any HPR advice is hard so I am hoping you will bear with me here.
In future I am hoping to return to weims but the time isn't now as it would be unfair to us all.

Get a can of grey spray paint and tell everyone that you have a long hair who would only eat cake and ice cream and wouldn't finsh his vegetables when he was a puppy. You are welcome because you have an interest in the breed, I will probably not have a Weim myself for quite awhile in the future.

Hi Sue!
hey - surely once you've had a weim, you're hooked for life, even if you have different breeds in the meantime?
I'm sure you'll be "back to the fold" soon enough!

Hi - I am definitely a weim person at heart but had to be sensible (well ish).
My deerhound has been bitten a couple of times and is rather reactive, I had three entire male dogs (welshie 5, deerhound 2.5 and brittany nearly 11) and although I dearly wanted a weim bitch I decided the boys would not cope. Physically I am not sure I could manage a male weim so I will wait till my lifestyle and current doggy household changes somewhat before I indulge myself (which I hope in one way will be a long wait). In the meantime my little Brittany demon pup will let me learn more about working HPR's that can only benefit future weim!!
