I have just joined, been meaning to do it for a while now, I own with my daughter 4 beautiful Weimaraners, 2 came from Bromhund Kennels, the other 2 were bred from them. All are fantastic retrievers. I originally owned and worked German Shepherds, and really did feel that this breed were the ultimate in working dogs, then I brought my first Weimaraner, he has excelled at everything I have asked him to do, gaining 2 obedience titles with ease, then going on to becoming the 5th weimaraner in Australia, and 3rd in Queensland to gain the title of Retrieving Champion, his 2 daughters who live with my daughter, are following in his foot steps. My other Weimaraner only came to live with me about 3 years ago and she has gained her Novice Retrieving Dog title. ;D

Hi Jackie and welcome to the forum! I just joined a short while ago and I'm from QLD as well. I haven't got a Weimaraner yet but hoping to get one by the end of this year (just moving houses in the moment and on holiday in Nov). Are you going to the Specilaty Show next sunday?
If you're in Brisbane can you recommend any dog clubs for training (Obedience, retrieving etc)?
