2008 World Dog Show & Wei Specialty show in Sweden

Hi Everyone
I would love to know who is going to the World Dog Show in July 2008 and also who is going to the Specialty shows as well that are held at the same time (3rd July - 6th July.)

Why don't we organize a big Meet and Greet and all have a glass of wine or even a Fosters (Aussie beer) - that Wetdog says we drink all the time here and as a result, we Aussies don't have time to write on the Euro Forum!! (We've taken the hint Wetdog!!)

So hands up who is coming to Sweden in July? Would be great to meet you and your beautiful dogs in person, rather than just reading all about them on the forum.

Of course, I am dying to see Oska again and also Sophie who are both going to be there.

We leave Sydney on 18th May and will head to the Weimaraner Club of America to be at their National Show at Rhode Island , (May 26th -30th), then onto Europe and arriving in Sweden on 2nd July. I know that our Aussie friends from Bromhund Weimaraners are also coming to the World Dog Show after the WCA Nationals.

Please let me know who is going and suggestions of where we can all meet up!

Hello Lainie,
Foster, Cassey (my Longhair bitch) and I of course are coming to the Worldshow in Sweden.
I am sure i will meet you there at Alviksholm. I stay there for a couple of weeks and have holliday too. I also will be train for the bloodtracks in Sweden and hope to have three first prices for Fosters Swedisch bloodtrack Champion title. But most important is the fun we will have over there.
I also go to the specialty shows and look forward to it. Hope we have good weather, not to hot.

we are comming too to Stockholm but this time without our dog, just for fun!
She is not ready for such kind of shows and me and Tomas are just going to have pleasure to meet members of this board and have nice watch at the show during the weekend!

Yes hope to get to the Windsor show if the timing works out we arrive into the UK on the 22nd June and we are there till 2nd July. I have been told the Weis are on the Friday so hope to get there... Would love to last time i was in the UK was 1996 so would love to see the UK dogs.

Hi everyone, so looking forward to the Weimaraner Speciality in America and meeting all our Aussy friends again and also meeting new ones!! I'm just counting the days can't wait. Would love to visit Sweden and the world show but funds this time just won't allow. I've a big soft spot for Sweden as I've a sister living there. Its such a fantastic country in everyway. ;D

That's a little bit lesser number than on Dutch National Specialty ;D ,
but still - it's really a good number!

Yesssss, a big feast in perspective with so much weimies and owners.

Pity for us, I am working at this period thus impossible to be present. As I hold a pension for Dogs, June July august and september are full working months for me.

just one week left from our depart to Sweden! So exiting, cant wait to see (a little part) of this beautiful country and of course to meet all of you and your dogs. We have entered our Cummel in the WW and also in both of the circuit shows.

Just a little worried - we did not receive our invitation letter for the shows jet... does anybody know anything about it? I have send a mail but till now no answer.

Dorit, I only receaved a letter for my longhair bitch. The one from Foster must still be come.
