I think it's not without reason that lots of breeders are looking for studs in Germany - if they want good hunting skills.
If there is a foreign stud with proven extraordinary hunting skills, I hope that they would let use him for breeding too. But surely it will cost more efforts to convince the club. No other way than to deal with them! And let's hope that the decisions will depend on the dog quality and not on politics.

I'm sure that in these lines also dogs exsist that have some problems on surtain huntingskills, as any other lines as well ! No dog is perfect !
It all depends what type of dog you prefer, what huntingskills you want to see in your dog and what dog you can handle.
Why except only extraordinary dogs, if the tests are comparable to HZP and the board accept this, that should be enough.
Its good that the German board takes new dogs into consideration, but indeed, real real pity if it should depends on politics !

If only the surrounding countries would pay attention to the hunting skills like the Germans do. For Holland and Belgium, there is absolutely no need at all to breed a litter from parents with hunting skills. I can certainly understand these dogs aren't interesting for them. Would you be interested in German dogs if the German people wouldn't pay attention to let's say character of conformation? ?

As far as us consern, we do look first to character and huntingskills prior to beauty, as we did with our latest addition, our own bred Flanders Joy Infinity "Xena" !
The puppy with most showpotentional went to people who asked for this, next to huntingskills as they need to do huntingtests in their country BEFORE they can breed her, wich we think is AWSOME !

We can only dream about this here, as some of the kennels are not hunting minded...
