I will be happy to meet all of you too on saturaday,
as i will arrive from Berlin on Thursday and stay until monday in poznan.
But i think i will leave my "boys" in the hotel,because in Israel it is still summer 26 Celsius and i think it will be too cold for them especially to my old Zippo to be outside in this cold that you are talking about , for many hours... LOL
So please let my know the meeting place and the time.

As soon as I am 100% sure about the place, I will give you all details: address, map, etc. I hope I will manage to reserve this place.... I'll know in a few days, so be patient, please!
The day will be Saturday for sure and the start time at 1 am is OK, I think.

It all sounds so exciting ! All these people and dogs of this forum that there will be. It will be a day to remember ....  We will have time too short, to meet and chat to all the members we want to see....  By the way, Ginger will join me to Poznan. We are comming with 4 weims and 4 mates.... ;D |

well, we shall start our journey at about 5 a.m. in the morning, gather Jurate with Povilas, Irena with Fred, Adatele with (?) and all dogs, and we shall be in time, about 12 o'clock at Poznan. But Iza, maybe we should not enter the big city, maybe that meeting is somewhere near that strzezcynek hotel, remember? It was about 12 km from Poznan center:) So keep us informed please! And... maybe a cell phone number or smth, cause if we'd get lost...  ))) |

I could correct.. Maybe we should count our "team" this way:
Jurate and Povilas +1 dog, Migle and Tomas +1 dog, Irena and Fred +1 dog, Adatele ( Edita) +1 dog, so we are now 7 persons and 4 dogs:)
Maybe we shoudl create a banner or smth here on the board? To announce the official board members meeting before WW show:)

Dear All, Good news. The place has been reserved! I am at work now and pretty busy this week but I will have given all details until the end of the week. The place is in the city but it's fenced, so the dogs will be absolutely safe. The place is a rifle range of our hunting union (closed in autumn). We have dogshows (CAC Antoninek) every year there. Here is the link with the photos of the show, so you can see the "landscape" behind the dogs at the photos. republika.pl/pzl_antoninek/ (please click "GALERIA 2004" on the left). There is a small wood to walk and spacious lawns for the dogs to run. There are also "outdoor places" with wooden tables, benches, some of them are under a wooden roof. And the best news: there is a hall (a big room) under the shooting place (like a cellar) with tables, chairs and a ... fireplace! We will come earlier and make a fire. ;D The room is normally used for meetings and courses and it is not a dining room. But we will bring some electric kettles, tea, coffee and cakes and we could sit by the fireplace and chat. I think that we can also call for pizza or something if we are hungry. The only bad news is that they have renewed the wooden floor there lately and we can't let the dogs run inside. There can be two solutions to the problem: first - if you have a crate you can keep the dog in the room in its crate; second - there is a corridor and a "room" where the wood for the fireplace is kept. So the dogs perhaps could stay there. Anyway let's pray for sunny and warm afternoon. ... to be continued.... ;D |
