Hi everyone, My name is Wendy and I am from Australia. My boy Phantom is Irena's Audrey's dad, if that makes sense! I am looking forward to meeting you all. Please visit our little web site, and say hi in our guest book. TEXTwww.dogs.net.au/syrinxlonghairedweimaraners/

HI Wendy and welcome to this board from me and my 2 LH bitches. We wanted to use Digger (Grausturm Extra Special) as a stud for one of our girls, but unfortunately it didn't work out. Love your dogs!

Thanks for the welcome, Marjolein. I remember you signing our guest book. Nice to meet you again. I would like a Dutch Digger puppy one day. Wendy

Hi Wendy, from Nina in the UK. I have 3 s/h weims at home, and am waiting to get Anya from Poland later in the year. She is to be our new foundation bitch after our first and only litter was affected by mast cell tumours (20% up to now). I tell everyone about it to try and keep everyone talking about these things.
Anya is a 'CHIP' grand-daughter - she is out of 'Greydove Nordic Liason', and a lovely polish bitch INT CH Raxi Bona Jantarowa, courtesy of 'Fala Lovea', otherwise known as Magda and Krzysiek.

Hi Nina, Nice to hear from you. I so agree with you about the problems with your litter! Keep talking it up, we all need to be open, it doesn't mean that the breeders have bad practices, or that the dogs are bad, it's just an unlucky roll of the dice. It only changes when people know and continue, especially those who have stud dogs who carry something nasty & knowingly breed to other people's bitches without disclosing. >:(This is one of my hobby horses!!! If we are really doing it for the betterment of the breed, which we are supposed to be, then we need to actually do things that will improve the breed, not our trophy collection!! I have been doing research into health problems lately, and it is frightening! The more I know, the scarier it is! I am starting to think Europe is a better option, too. Stepping down from my 'soapbox' now Wendy
