I finally made it here!! Better late than never!
It's so nice to see so many familiar names, Narelle, Ilana, Elizabeth, Lois to name a few and of course Irena who I must sincerely thank for all her help to find my way in the forum and the hard work she's put to the site.
My name is Dimitri, I'm Greek but I live in South Africa the last few years because of my work.
I own 3 weims, 2 australian imports and a SAn bred bitch with a full australian pedigree though! I'm also expecting another one from USA in partnership with a friend of mine but that will only be next year. He will come from a kennel known for its dual purposes dogs!To be honest in this stage I'd prefer a dog with a strong hunting instict from a just beutiful dog. I know a good looking weimaraner is like a piece of art but from the other hand a weim on point is THE PICTURE!!!!!!!!!
I love all my dogs but my favourite, my pride and joy is my male Silver, DUAL. CH. INT.CH GREYDOVE DESERT STORM CDX, NSD,NRD, CGC. He is an obedience champion and show champion in Greece and in South Africa.
He is almost six now and we do everything together, shows, hunting, agility. Of course our passion is hunting and then comes agility where we compete in the highest level but with no hopes for the agility champion title because of all those border collies which are so fast!!!
Anyway, we'll keep trying...
