I finally made here and got signed it. Yeah! I took a bit of time to check things out and see you have a nice Weimaraner Forum going! Thank you for inviting me to join. My husband (Cliff) and I are into Weims. We have several and raise an occasional litter. I am NOT here to sell puppies though. It is just nice to talk with people who share our addiction. We are into field and hunting with our Weims. I have some physical limitations that don't allow me to do all I want. Nevertheless, several of our Weims are making a good showing in the field--other people are working on titles. I am glad to be a part and look forward to learning more and meeting you all. Shela in Oregon

Anne..... OwyheeStar, and we are kind of remote over by Idaho. We are trying to do some things with the Snake River NAVHDA. You might have run into Clint Garrick. His Chief is one of ours. He tells me he is in process with NAVHDA as well as working on German Title. I know you will understand the German Title better than I do. BTW our Callie who is NOT breeding age yet came in 90 % with her recent Penn Hip and Pepper (also not breeding age) was above average. Of course, we are thrilled with the 90 percentile. Smiles
Elton Welke has CZ and I don't think he will title CZ, however, CZ is headed for the midwest with his trainer for a 5 state tour with the top dogs in his program. Sorry I cannot remember his name. Ugh! Lupus is my excuse for being brain dead. Often, I simply cannot but two and two together.

Steve Graham is in your neck of the woods and is also a Snake River NAVHDA member. He has LH's imported from Germany. Incidentally I don't understand the German testing thing that you mention... unless they are also FCI registered. There is a JGV-USA (under the JGHV) for those FCI registered dogs to test here in the US, sort of like VDD if you know any people that have Drathaars. Anyway Where are you getting your LHs from? They are hard to come by here unless you import them.

Fantastic! Was that the LH featured on NAVHDA Magazine? Incidentally I don't understand the German testing thing that you mention... unless they are also FCI registered. There is a JGV-USA (under the JGHV) Exactly....I knew that you would know what I was trying to remember. Thanks for those FCI registered dogs to test here in the US, sort of like VDD if you know any people that have Drathaars. Anyway Where are you getting your LHs from? They are hard to come by here unless you import them. I cannot say at this time, but a little later I can tell you more. By next week I should have a pedigree in hand. Yes, they are very difficult to come by. If all goes well I should have puppy here by Sunday. I will post a picture once I am home and recovered.

Yes it was Steves dog that was recently on the cover of the VHD magazine. How'd he get the dog FCI registered? Curious about how that works Look forward to hearing about your new pup!

Ok, well that is good to know. In time maybe I can get to meet this person and learn something about how he accomplished everything. I will let you know about the pup when I get it home. You can always learn something. Well I have to focus on getting ready to make the trip to pick up the puppy. I leave tommorrow morning and I hope to be back on Sunday. Blessings. I will post pictures ASAP. Take Care -- Shela

Steve Graham is in your neck of the woods and is also a Snake River NAVHDA member. Anne FYI I checked Steve lives in Portland, Oregon. That is on the other side of the state where everyone pretty much lives. I believe from Ontario it is 455 miles. We never go there unless we are heading to the Oregon Coast. Boise is 55 miles east of here. We live 1 mile from Idaho. Steve belongs to a different NAVHDA ......when we joined they said they had no other Weims so I was wondering. He may come here sometimes for trials or something. Anyhow, I am glad to know we didn't miss him......because he is on the other side of the state. Most people don't even know Oregon goes past Pendleton. Ha! You say you are from Eastern Oregon and they say Bend or Pendleton. We just laugh. Yes, by most peoples standards Portland would be in our area but it kind of doesn't work that way. Smiles We have not had the opportunity to meet him as yet........maybe in time. smiles He has LH's imported from Germany. Fantastic! Was that the LH featured on NAVHDA Magazine? Thank You Fred. I am sorry it took me so long. As you probably know I tried to sign up in February and something went wrong. They reset my info and then I failed to get back on because things seem to get crazy. Smiles Anyhow, thank you and yes I like what is happening here. There is a lot of good information. Thanks for all you do. S

OK I don't quite have the picture thing figured out but maybe this link will work: Shela, Your link worked wonderfully and she is absolutely beautiful! I hope that she is all that you hope for in a weim! I know that my Mike' is proving to be awesome.. she (Mike') starts the field trials as soon as the weather breaks here and it is not so hot for them. I do not want her to be ruined b/c it is just too hot for her to run! That would be a bad thing! Welcome to the board also! It is nice to see an old friend here!
