Irena what a lovely little girl, she really does look pretty. I didn't realise you were getting a pup from Tasmania. She does look stunning. How old is she now? Do you have any plans for her? PM me and tell me all about her, how you chose her, her lines etc - I'm really interested.

Thank you! Nina, I have been waiting for this moment for 4 years, but actually I learned about the breed in 1993. But until now I could not afford to have one, my life was just not suited for a new pup. Meanwhile I made friends with a wonderful lady in Tasmania who breeds Acewild GSP's and also handles all Grausturm Weimaraners. I LOVED all the Grausturm Weis I saw in pictures, but I couldn't really ever dream of getting one from them. I can't really believe that the dream has come true now. It is thanks to quite a few people that it happened, and most of all Maree, Ingrid (my breeder), and my best friend, Freddy (Mr Wetdog). As to plans for her - I do have dreams and hopes, but we'll see how good I am at making it happen! One thing she already has, and it is superb conformation and genes, so she will be shown. I would however like to do much more with her, and we both are taking little steps to make it happen. I am observing her and trying to understand what she may enjoy doing. (Apart from giving and receiving cuddles and kisses!!! ;D ) She has only been with me 6 days! She is related to your puppy - her great-grandsire is Aust/Am Ch Nani N Greydove Milenium Bug. She has some exceptional dogs in her pedigree, including Aust Grand Ch Aceweis Lazer Beam. She could also theoretically be a LH carrier, as both of her parents are carriers.

The long wait has been worth it, she's a real beauty. Enjoy sharing your life with her.

Irena must agree that she is a very nice bitch - you look like you are already able to 'stand' her well...... I think, given the long wait that you have had to get her, you should most of all enjoy every day, as I'm sure with each day that you have her, there will be a new challenge to face ;D
I 'found' her pedigree on your website, and noticed the connection. Also noticed the l/h's in her pedigree too - and some of the litter are longhairs aren't they? (pink if my memory serves me correctly).

Thank you guys..........
Yup, two of her sisters are Longhairs, one of them stayed with the breeder as they had wanted a LH girl to keep - she is Grausturm Live The Dream, who has already a Baby In Group award which she took at her first show!!
