I think I saw your web site on the links for the Northern California weim rescue page (was taking a break from tests...and am going to give up on one test for the remainder of this evening!)
I didn't click it open, this 11 page test is too much for 24 hours!
(I think I'm posting and acting like the weims who really need to get out and run!)

Thanks Cheryl. I am pleased to know that it's being used for educational purposes as was the intent!

it is a very useful site and interesting to read. Have you thought about updating it to include champions of today that have blue lineage or would that be a bit too politically incorrect???

LOL Tasha, while I do tend to spout off way too much, even that is way too politically incorrect for me. I'd have to list a lot of kennel names known across the world. Seeing that Casar was one of the first Weims imported to this country and was a Top 10 producer, and the fact that there were good blues around when they were accepted (ask the big name old-timers, they remember when the quality was good), it's a rare pedigree that doesn't have some blue back there. I'll let Elizabeth Wood name names... See www.weim.net/twn/General/EWood%20-%20StandardRevisions(5-92essay).htm, scroll to the bottom, reference #16.

Tasha I got the same thing the first time I tried as well. But I hit the link that Leslie left and it worked brilliantly. And the article is very informative and understandable to someone like me who knows nothing about breeding, pedigrees or shows. cheers, jai
