Hello to all members of euroweims, I have a question concerning CACIT trials in Europe. Since you come from so many different countries I hope you can help me to find out about how to achieve a CACIT in your home country. I do know it is very hard to achieve the title International working champion, but I need a least informations about where I can find the trials, are they open to Weimaraners and main concern does everybody with a certain amount of points get a CACIT (as it is with Dachshunds) or does only the winner gets the CACIT. I am willing to travel throughout Europe ! I hope a lot of members out of different countries will reply and tell me about there rules and regulations ! I´ll thank you all in advance !!!! Nadja

Nadja, I just quickly checked the FCI-rules for the international working title and I don't think a bloodtracking title is enough for pointing breeds. You can check out the rules by downloading the file from the download page on my site: www.langhaarweimaraner.nlGood luck!

Nadja To be International Working champion you need 2 CACIT in different countries or 1 CACIT + 2 RCACIT (in your country + another country) + min 1 VG in show in your country. Those CACITs are given only in Open Field-Trials. Very hard to obtain as you are confronted to all the continentals dogs, lots of professional dog trainers, ... In France for eg : in Open FT you can have more than 200 or 300 dogs (only Continental dogs and the same for the Britannics), only the best of the day can have the CACIT if he has the level to have it. It is possible not to have. Very difficult to have more than a CAC because at the "barrage", you can have 20 dogs competing for the CACIT In Belgium, not so many entries in Open field-trials but only the best dogs succeed : the field champion can compete in "solo" with those who are not champion. It is already difficult to have a classment, more difficult to be at the excellent and more more difficult to have a CAC, the CACIT is the conclusion if the dog has the level to have it. the gang of the Hunters des Brumes des Bois Belgium
