Hi every one ! As solo TRIAL champion, my Winnie begins a new carrier on the french trials....the braces ! He has now to fight against other champions in other breeds (all breeds trials). His beginning is rather nice. Untill this day, he ran 4 trials and earns the following results: 2nd EXC + RCACT (2 points + 1 backing) 4th EXC (2 points + 1 backing) Very good (2 points + 1 backing) 1 eliminate (2 points + 1 hit ). Anyway, he let a very big impression to his judges. Today, He earns only a VG because he was to "big" in his search...unusual for a weim !!  Chris |

Salut Chris I've seen your boy running in field trial, the judges and the trainers let me follow the contest and take pics! great! this kind of FT named "couple" is more difficult, 2 dogs have to run together, take point and be able te back the other on point. after his impressive carrier in "solo" years ago, Wiwi is on the top again! fingers crossed for further FT... tomorrow, I will be there with my camera  my little Harper will participate too! up !!!
Today, Winnie earned a place EXC on the French OPEN of Field-Trial (all breed).
He was entered in "braces" and ran against an A.FUSILIER 's GSP.
The waether was very "heavy" and hot....very hard to keep on a formula 1 rythm while 15mn.
1 point/steady/retrieving EXC for each dog.
But the judges prefered the GSP....

Hi Everyone !! This evening is the end of the FT on planted game.....for us ! Vini ran all in braces against other champions in all breeds and earned 5 placements: RCACT at LABBEVILLE EXC at BEAUMONT LE ROGER EXC at VILLESEQUE (FRENCH FT OPEN) EXC at ESCOURCE VG at ANDECHY Let's go now to the WOODCOCKS FT in braces (All breed). Vini earns:
- the 2008 National Breed Field Trial challenge !! (all the results of the year)
- The club's 2008 Woodcock challenge (all results in woodcock FT)
- 2° place on the breed championship ( on the 6 best results)

Hi and thanks everyone !!
Vini is now at home for the end of the hunting season.
He will join back his trainer on the end of january for training ins spain on wild partridges.
He hopes a nice place in the very hard open breed spring european championship....
He said he never saw such a point taker..... even he earned several european champioships with other breeds.
I'm crossing the fingers !!
