I was a youngster when we had Bruce, but due to a death in the family we had to give him away at the age of 2, as no one was home during daytime to look after him. I was very very close to him, and even went to see him 8 years later (last year) and was happy to see the new owners had taken great care off him and even kept his name which was a nice little touch. I was scheduled to see him again today as I had heard he was not very well and had many bumps on his body, I couldnt make it in the week, but my dad however did...As I knocked on the door today, the owners said "hes not here anymore". They had to have him put down because of the extreme pain...I will always miss Bruce, and this truely is a sad day even though I never owned him at the time.

I'm sorry Bruce has left your life. You may not have owned him at the time, but obviously Bruce still held a large place in your heart.

Oh Rudki, what a sad message. Bruce is at Rainbow Bridge now, playing around with his friends, without the pain he had. I could read you loved him and you will not forget him. Feel so sorry for you. Gr. Ina
