I lost my Eldest bitch on Saturday. She had been lame on one of her back legs for about a month and the vet put her on 2 weeks of Rimydal, didnt make any difference and she was going back to the vets either today or tomorrow. but on Saturday she was in the chair and tried to get down but her back legs just "fell" out of the chair and my son heard a crunch and so my OH took her to the vets, they sedated her and x rayed her to discover that she had broken her leg but where the break was there was a massive tumour in the bone so we had her PTS. There was nothing the vet could do.
It has left such a huge hole in our home. It is only 3 months since I lost Tikka (her granddaughter).
SHANNONDOR OHIO OF KIDMAL 24/10/94 to 25/11/06

I'm sorry Lynn, I know too well what you mean when you say it "left a huge hole in our home."
Remember the good times.

I'm so sorry that you lost your girl, Lynn. We lost our 'little old man' this year, one of the last of my parent's breeding at about 15. Sometimes I am still sure I hear him coming down the hall. He was a tyrant who was the boss of all the Grey Ones - even though he was almost totally blind and had about 4 teeth! I have yet to lose a Wei, with the way they get into your heart, I can't imagine how the loss of both can be for you. Hugs from Oz Wendy

Hi Lynn So sorry to read about Shannondor Ohio, it doesn't seem that long ago since you brought her into your home. She was a lovely bitch. I'll always remember winning her class at Crufts!! I'm sure she'll be so sadly missed.
