Friday 17th November was a very sad day for our family. We had to say goodbye to the most wonderful dog we have ever owned. Holly was 15 years 8 months when she left us. Once in a lifetime you own a dog that is a little bit more special and that was our Holly. I miss her collecting the bowls after everyone had finished their dinner so she could get a treat, I miss her beautiful smile she used to greet me with, I miss her little dance with a toy in her mouth when I was preparing dinner so she could once again get a treat. I would end up with the whole toy box on the bench by the time I had prepared dinner. These are some of the precious memories I will keep forever.
She was a wonderful ambassador for the breed being the greatest winning bitch in this country, a record which has not been broken. Her biggest win was Best in Show at the Sydney Royal Show with an entry of 5,300 when she was 2 years old. She joins her famous brothers and sisters Gr. Ch. Grauhund Nikkitah, Ch. Grauhund Nite Reflections, Ch. Grauhund New Man in Town and Gr. Ch. Grauhund Nacotia Reprint CD TD at Rainbow Bridge.
My heart is broken and I miss her so much, but I have some lovely memories to keep me going for ever. R.I.P. Miss Holly - Carol

So sorry to hear about Holly. It is never easy to say goodbye to our dear old friends and I am sure you will miss her very much for a long time. Holly was indeed one of the great Weimaraners that graced the show ring here. I am sure her memory and character will live on through her grand children and great grand children. It was a great litter for you and I know we are fortunate to have offspring of Holly's sister, Nikki in our home.
Rest in peace Holly.

Oh, so sorry Carol. Your Holly was indeed an Golden Oldie. !5+years, that's a real old age. Time will heal your wounds and the good memories will stay. Remember her on the good way she was in the good days.

I am sorry to read of your loss. I remember seeing a picture of Holly after she won the Sydney Royal. It was published in one of the UK's canine weeklies and I thought she was a beautiful girl.
