I've been reading a thread where these products are discussed, mainly for longhaired dogs, but they do recommend using it for shorthairs too. (Shampoo + SILK + Show Shine spray) Just wondering if it's worth it, but I would be willing to try, I think! Makes me want to get a LH Weim too so I could groom it nicely, LOL.

Do you know that in the UK there are regulations over the preparation of your showdog?? Using any grooming products whilst at the show is definately a no-no. I think it's a bit of a joke really, as everyone has their 'water' spray bottles - lol.....
I think the regs cover anything that remains in the coat for the show..... but I'm not 100% sure on that.
As for using products on shorthairs, as long as I was sure the product was going to do no harm to the coat, I can't see why you shouldn't try it Irena.......
As for the l/h I have visions of Irena's Audry wearing a longhaired all-over wig - so funny ;D
