Cash is now 8 months old & gorgeous ;D He is so hairy & I rather like gromming him with cutting his toes hairs & today for the first time I used a stripping comb after I bathed him & he dried. I was amazed at all the dead hair I got off him, it was exciting as normal brushing did not get that amount off.
I'm not sure though if it is regular practice to use one of these on Long Hair Weimraners.
Also I am unaware of the correct way of the hand motion when stripping for example do u strip as if u were brushing or do u go in the opposit direction?
It's your dog, so you can do what you want to the hair
I cut between the toes and have trimmed of hair on the front of his neck and on his tail. And sometimes alsow on his legs (the snow sticks to it in the winter sometimes and it hurts him.. so I cut it off)
BUT i don't know if its "ok" to do so if you want to show your dog.
