I just registered to this website. I have been looking at the forums and they have all been really imformative. I have two weims one I have had for 3 years (3 years, Spayed Female, "Sadie" Blue in color) I got her from a local SPCA. I just got a male named Austin and he is 6.5 months old. He is an un-neutered male, silver and just an all around great dog. Weims are the most intelligent but hard headed dogs I know. Almost every Weim I have ever met has a personality that cannot match another dog's. As per my job I work with dogs all the time and am around all different breeds no dog compares to a Weim. Thank you all for this very inforamative site.

Welcome! Nice to have you here. There are a couple of us here on the list with Blue girls. That's my Ellie on the right in the banner when she was a puppy. That's great that you took a rescue. Look forward to hearing more from you. Leslie

Hi and welcome here!! I have a Leonberger and two longhaired Weimaraners. One of them has a 5 day old litter right now.

Welcome to the forum sdwlucas, we have a very nice group of people from some very interesting places here. Like Pennsylvania, we have quite a few Dutch folks here.
You know the Dutch folks--they are a small but VERY noisy group---we tried the no-bark collars on them and they didn't work.
(I'm just kidding, we love our Dutch members, and we love having you join us too)

Oh marjolein congratulations on your young litter! I will never forget the first time I saw a litter of young weimaraners. it was at Casa de Juno, the great breeders were I got my Iago. I remember seeing those 10 little darlings surrounding their doting mum Juno and I felt my heart sink to the ground. I almost cried. Hi and welcome here!!
