I only joined yesterday and I am really glad I did. It's great to be able to share stories and problems with other owners of this special breed. I have a male Weim aged 10 named Bailey. Bailey has clocked up more air miles than a lot of people have. Until last year we have lived in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Now I am glad to say we are settled in France and very happy to put down roots at last. Poor Bailey has lived in the Middle East since he was one year old, and boy does he love grass more than sand. So hello to all from me, Bailey, Tara the Siamese, Suki the small white spitz (rescued by my daughter in Kuwait) and Leo the ginger cat (rescued by my daughter again in Kuwait). Needless to say she has gone off to college in Scotland and I'm left with them all. Tara

Welcome to the board Tara, Bailey, Little Tara, Suki and Leo--WHEW, you have a full house! I don't blame Bailey, I like grass better than sand too. Where has your daughter gone to school? Should we look for her with Harry Potter at Hogwarts in the next movie?

Bonjour Leslie
I'm in the Limousin region. All Scots in my family but settled in France.
Thanks for all the info about Bailey's stomach problem. He is back at the vets this morning....another drip but he seems to be on the mend...thank God
