Dear all, I would like to chare my newest family member to all of you !! Since many years, I have a predilection for the Greydove dogs from Australia. But I thought it was out of my reach to get one in Belgium from this famous kennel. But blood flows wherever it can't reach, and since I have met Greydove Fala Love'a in Austria last spring, I was in love at first sight So I informed at Val and Narelle and I was lucky to be blessed by a daughter of Greydove Poetry in Motion. Greydove to Flanders Joy, 'Ginger' is born on August 19th and I will be thrilled to pick her up at the airport end of November.... Ginger's dad is the stunning Grauhund Heartbreaker. Both mum and dad are of course Champion. For her pedigree you can visit our website. Ginger will do a lot of shows but she will also get a lot of opportunities to work in the field and see and smell partridges an pheasants from young age. Next year, she will follow a course to retrieve and swim after wild game. I understand that some countries don't have good opportunities to work in the field, but we think every dog has to get the opportunities to get acquintance to wild game. I'm convinced all dogs have talents, if it's now in show or field, it doesn't matter, but these talents has to be utilize.... A weimaraner is for us so much more than a dog in family connection. Photo's will be posted as soon as I get them.... Kobie

Thanks all !
I'm happy to join the club Irena. Like Lola does, Audry is also a amazing lady ! She is maturing very well !
Ilana, I was forgotten to tell that I also love the Camelot's dogs very well. Greydove and Camelot's are for me the best the Aust-US line can offer. However there are many other Aust-US lines that may exciste next to those two lines, my preference go to this ones !

Kobie it sounds like you are, as we say in the UK, 'over the moon'. Translates to 'really happy' but with a little extra something Congratulations on your new addition to your kennel. Nina and Jensen

Sometimes something doesn't go the way you would like it to go.
Greydove had bad luck with the litter of Breaker/Tara (no further comment)...
As a respectful and ethical breeder as they are, I'm happy to know them and I'm sure they do what's best for everyone.... I will have the chance to get the next pick bitch from Tara's litter sired by the stunny US import, BIS Am Ch/Aust Ch PewteRun Greydove Black Magic 'Frankie' (Imp USA), a young dog with a incredible achievement till date....
Frankie's sire is Am Ch Camelot's Go for the Gold, WCA 2003 Invitational winner & BOB 2004 Westminster. Frankie's dam is the stunning Am/Can & Int Ch Silversmith Pewt'run Betsy Ross, herself sired by Top Producer Am Ch Windwalker's Graeagle, also a past Westminster BOB. Frankie's pedigree obviously boasts top credentials representing the very best producers and showdogs in the US today, including Am Ch Smokey City Mob Boss nearing his DUAL CH, a truely versatile dog

Kobie, I'm very sorry to hear this. But like you said, things happen sometimes, and I guess one can just never predict. I am really sorry it didn't work out this time, but it WILL when it's meant to be..... Believe me I know that!!!!!! I admire breeders for their efforts, it takes HARD work and lots of knowledge and devotion, and still things can go wrong sometimes - that's just life....

Kobie, sometimes you have to say things happen for a reason, and maybe this is one of those times.
I really like Frankie - one worth waiting for I think.
Good luck for next time,
Nina and Jensen

Hi Everyone, I will let everyone know that we had lost 5 of 7 pups from our Breaker x Tara litter due to a gastro bug that got into the house. We had the whole litter up at the vet for about 2 weeks on a drip and Val, devestated, lost 5 pups at about 7 weeks of age. Anyone who know us and how we raise our babies knows that they are inside and pretty much sleep with Val from the time they don't want to be in the whelping box anymore. We are very careful about having visitors in the house particulars because of germs but this time we lucked out. Apparently there is a virus that is hitting quite alot in Sydney our vet let us know. Our 2 last babies did come home last week but we really didn't think it was right to send one to Kobie and preferred to offer the next litter. Some of the countries we have sent pups are so far away and the dogs have to deal with so much more disease than in Australia. We feel confident we have done the right thing for Kobie, we know she is feeling a loss as she was so looking forward to her new puppy but we are protecting her!!! We would only send the best and healthiest pups.... Chin up Kobie, good things come to those who wait... Narelle @ greydove

Kobie,
I just wanted to let you know that I just went training yesterday with someone that has a Hudson (Camelot's Go for the Gold) son. Nice point... and a natural backer! (envious!) He's young and needs more time to mature, but nice dog. Did not see him run so no comment on range. Good looking boy with only majors needed to finish his bench Ch.
My Riley should have some pups on the ground soon, the dam is a Grady daughter, so we are hopeful for some nice looking working dogs. There are some nice working dogs in those show lines you mention.
Narelle,
So sorry to hear about the litter, how heartbreaking!
Anne
