I know of just a handful of male working dogs exported to the US. I'm sure there are more than that. Has anyone on this board exported a male working dog or know of any?
TIA,
Anne

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll look into these dogs. I knew about the one with the WCA write-up and one of the others but the rest are new to me.
Thx again,
Anne

I listed him and the bitches because they might have been bred from so you might be able to find progeny to use. An sure there was another dog but I'll have to go through the BRS to check.
There might also be others that were exported as pets and not registered with the Kennel Club but they will be nearly impossible to find unless you can find someone who knows of them locally.

(Pojken is just 4 months old today and he is long hair as are sire and dam. I am training for hunting and possibly going to show him in July in Canada. Have been researching and looks like it would be a 3-5 day trip. The one problem, his Netherlands registration will take a bit to reach us and I promised our breeders I would not breed him without titles, testing, OFA and guidance or their approval.) :)Long hair:) And to quote Wendy... "I just love him so much!"

Do you have to register him with the canadian kennel club? Do they keep a published record??

Hi Tasha, I'll post the answer under "Show regulations" but I do know I need to find out more soon, from the kennel club representative because even though I thought I had everything lined up to bring Pojken back from the Netherlands, once we tried to leave, nothing was approved and I had to stumble my way through with many emails and phone calls...
