Frank Kane is an all-rounder from the UK. There are some results from previous judging engagements on this forum, if you can find them.

I am not sure for 100% but probably only one english judge - Pasty Hollings judged weims in Poland couple years ago.

I am planning a trip to the World Dog Show in 2008. A friend of mine with Labradors and with whom I co-own a puppy (Lab) are hoping to make the trip.
Hopefully we can meet some of the forum members there. Another of my friends from here is judging English Springer Spaniels at the World Dog Show.

Yup, speaking about searching for things - I always forget about it but there is a search button at the top of the page, you just have to choose a time period for it to search - it says "posted within the last 7 days" by default but I just changed it to 365 (just as an example) and I did find some posts! Try it! (I only searched for the surname, to increase the chances)

As I recall, he did the NZ specialty in November (?), so look for those results. Wendy

Hello guys, Just wanted you all to know that the Swedish Weimaranerclub also will have a official show the same weekend as the WW-show, also is our Specialclub going to arrange a show, so, dear folks, this means you will have THREE chances within three days! The judges I don´t know yet, but I´ll let you know as soon as we have had our boardmeeting in this matter!
About Frank Kane: I also entered at the show in November with my "Carma" (she became 4th of the bitches). He was very sweet with the dogs, and gave them all fair chances, even though not all were very good handled... I think he´s an excellent choice.

You are very nice for posting this info, but I think that in Sweden isnt allowed to show docked dogs, or?.... Offcourse WW will be something different but I am not sure about your nationals and club shows

What I like in Sweden is that although docking is not allowed there you still can show docked dogs there I know that there is a Club Show in Finland just after or before EuroShow 2006 but docked dogs can take part in it only if docking was done because of medical problems and you have to have a vet "certificate" for it Fortunately Euro Show is an exception from these rules magda

Oh great. Thanks for info! I was thinking that cause you are Magda absolutely right. No chance to show docked dogs on club show in Finland (when you didnt wanted to forge the papers (

Unfortunately it's true with this Club Show in Finland as last week I and my friend were picking Finish GSPs breeders from Warsaw airport (they were going for breeding to Chech to Ludek Muller - Ze Stipek kennel ) and they confirmed that only "vet's certificate" makes docked dog able to enter Club Show....

About docked tails then; Yes, we show imports here with docked tails but I think you mistake us for both Finland AND Norway. They don´t care where the dog was born... Even if it is allowed to dock tails! Stupid rules, we are lucky to not have them!!! @nci
