I wondered who won that Tasha. Arrow (GSD) was leading at one point and I thought he would be hard to beat. Up the Weimies..... Holly would not entertain the scurry. Dummies are just not for her. She obviously prefers the real thing as Suzi got her doing three really good retrieves on a real bird (frozenish ) on Monday at the 'WCGB water day'. I was sooo proud of her We also had our very first go ever at agility. I jumped them very well if I may say so ;D and Holly took to the tunnels and jumps really well. Here is a video of her on the weaves. s113.photobucket.com/albums/n211/morganden/?action=view¤t=DSCN2310.flv[Sorry about the rear end view folks ) Allyson training Holly. Introducing Holly to agility. This is Holly absolutely zonked at the end of the day. My friend won her own prize (the dog bedding) in the raffle so she gave it to Holly as a pesent. She was absolutely chuffed to bits with it and quickly demonstrated how to use it. Many thanks to Lynn and all her family and helpers for all the hard work they put in setting the day up. It was a long old journey but great to meet up with so many friends.

Hey Les..so great to see the pics! Looks like everyone had a grand time.. Tasha, congrats to Bonnie.. what was her prize?
The dog bedding looks like one we had.. Falko enjoyed tearing it up... he prefers his down comforter to the one that stayed on the cold floor, his comforter is always warm no matter where it is.. except when it is in the wash

Winning against Allyson!!! haha! No she got a lovely little certificate which is now hanging up on the wall and some toys one of which she shared (although am not sure she wanted to give it up in the end) and a bag of sweeties which she has already scoffed!! I think we beat Allysons time by such a tiny amount was surprised that we won at all considering her second go which was 37 seconds... no idea what she was doing but I think sausages might have been on her mind rather than her dummy haha!

Sorry its taken me so long to add to the thread. France with my daughter was an experience....lol
Everyone said that they had had a good time. Weather was perfect for humans but a little on the hot side for doggies in fur coats. I missed the sausage race but understand it was hilarious. I havent even looked at the pics I took, but I will and I will post them.
It was such a shame it was so badly attended.... only about a dozen or so people turned upbut they were so generous in donating to the raffle and buying raffle tickets and the tickets for the pearl necklace that the funday raised (to date as I am still getting cheques in donating towards the day) nearly £300.
Thanks to all those who did come along and to Lesley for your gazebo.
Maybe not on a bank holiday next time and we might get a few more people in.

Margarita was supposed to be taking some tickets to the water day.... I take it she forgot.!!! Tasha do youthink you could contact Suzi and ask her if anyone wants tickets to let me know either by e mail or phone and I will send them out. The draw is in 2 weeks time so sooner rather than later... otherwise margarita has a bundle of tickets.
I counted up the money last night and the final total raised, after expenses (like hire of the hall, etc) was £337
