haha! I'm looking forward to crufts now but how do you get a dog who just wants to fidget to stand still long enough for the judge to look at him?

I usually get loads of people to go over the dog so it becomes boring for them. The same for nervous dogs. If anyone comes to the house I make the dog stand & get people to look in the mouth & run their hands over the dog.

he's getting better at people going over him but i am sure that he thinks someone is going to put cold hands on his whatsits from the way he wiggles around

We've got a couple of months to practise so hopefully when the day comes things will be ok.

Were going with Spartacus and Lizzie. Entered in breed classes, and for the 1st time in gamekeeper classes so well see how we get on.

They are in both, dont know how the timing will work out, so classes may clash.
The gamekeeper rings are closer to the weimy benches this year so it should be easier to keep an eye on.

A Weimaraner has never won best in show at Crufts, in fact one has never won the group at Crufts yet. 2 have been runner up in the group so near yet so far!

Where can I find detailed information about the classes at Crufts? If a dog is coming from overseas, how can I determine which class it should be entered in? Can I enter one dog in more than one class at Crufts? Thanks in advance...
