Jensen is my homebred Weimaraner Alkemist Lunar Sea, who has battled with Cancer as a youngster. In anticipation of getting Anya (Rio Concha Fala Love'a) later in the year we thought we'd better get in some practice. So for the first time in 3 years we took Jensen to a couple of shows. At his first show (Three Counties), he was placed 2nd in post graduate dog, qualifying for Crufts. At his 2nd show (Leeds), he was placed 3rd, (which I think is another Crufts qualification). I can't remember Jensen being unplaced as a younger dog, but expected that as an older dog with a large scar we would have a struggle - apparently not.... We love this dog to bits, and are MADE UP that he still has that sparkle. Only problem is now we will have to pay for the 2 Weims to go to the Show ;D ;D Nina PS we have the critique from the judge at 3 counties - thought I'd add that too - do you think we are pleased or what??? Judge Mr JS Thirlwell: "Masculine dog of pleasing type. Good bone and substance. Balanced outline, moved well."
