Hi Every Body! At first I want to say sorry for every mistakes I will do. I'm not good in English It's night... but I'm not the only one who doesn't sleep... Wetdog invited me to introduce myself so I'll try... My name is Agata and I'm writing from Poland. 4 years ago I was looking for my first really mine dog (I live still with parents and we always had dogs at home)... and I found! I have SH weim - bitch Malina z Bobiêciñskiego Lasu but I call her Draka. And now 11 puppies (one bitch will stay with me so I will have two weims ). I'm not interesting in hunting and weimaraner is for me "only" excellent companion and friend (it doesn't mean she is bored and sad). We go long long walks, she runs with me when I'm riding horses, she is taking courses, jumping fences... We're not alone... we live with 5 dogs (2 beagles, dachshund...), 4 cats, 6 horses, goats. All animals live in harmony. I'm beginner weimaraner owner and breeder. It's my hobby and life not professional activity. So I will here rather read and learn than write something. I'm very happy that I found this place! regards Agata

Dear Agata - don't worry about your English, you are doing so fine! I just cannot understand why you were so shy in Szczecin and didn't talk do Lainie too much. You might not remember me but I'm the one who owns Rider and was hanging around with Pauline & Ashlaren team. I am very glad your Draka had such a nice litter By the way, there is nothing more fantastic than many many gray noses at home! We have 3 here (+10 babies!) but probably one of the boys from my Brita's litter is going to stay with us. Good to see another Polish weimlover here Keep on sharing your opinions, I believe noone will yell at you for that! Patrycja

Agata---welcome to the board! Now see, making a little introduction didn't hurt all that badly did it?(and you aren't even bleeding, very much)
If you aren't a hunter, that's ok, every single list I've ever seen that lists breeds by intelligence always have had Weimaraners listed among the top ten breeds. Weimaraners of capable of doing ANYTHING that any dogs can do---so hang around, it already sounds to me like you might get interested in Agility and Rally type training.
It's nice to have you join us, and join in, no one cares if your English is perfect--LMAO, it's a lot better than my Polish.

Welcome from Belgium!
Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself. It's lovely to hear how you discovered Weimaraners. We all have a different story about how we found these wonderful dogs - so thank you for sharing yours!

Thank You for so pleasant greeting Wetdog I'm not bleeding very much I was revieving forum before I registered and I think the idea of introduction very good. I was planing to introduce myself but later, during the day then brain works better ;D You surprised me your message moment after I registered... I didn't thought that someone could be on line ;D Probably I would train with Draka agility if I had possibility. In Poland dogs sports are not very popular and there is still few places to train something. And I live on the country... I have fields, meadows, forest, lake... so we do what we can. Unfortunately there are no wild birds therefore we plan to have pheasants and to let weims work on field. Patrycja of course i remember You! You were very helpful to talk with Laine. I am shy... and it's different thing to write (then I can use dictionary or spell check - genial idea) and to talk And You have beautiful litter . I saw photos on your website. How I discovered weims... then I decide that I want to have a dog, I considered what I expect from it and what I can give to it. I wanted dog - active friend (running with horses, bicycle, or just long walks), living in harmony with my others animals, not aggressive but with serious look (i need to feel save witch my dog), and with short hair... I opened book about dogs and started looking ... than searching Internet and mailing with breeders - weimaraner match perfect! Photos... Biggest part of dog companion (without second beagle and Central Asia Shepherd Dog) Draka And I have 11 greyness in this size (born 12.07.2006). It's my first litter. Father of puppies is Oska.
