Audry has won her certificate for her Russian Championship at St. Petersburg two weeks ago. It does not become officially in effect until she reachs 22 months of age(I think that is when)--but the requirements are all fulfilled so it is automatic then. Some pictures of the trip and St. Petersburg are here: foto.inbox.lv/balticweim/StPetersburg-April2006?language=en The Greyhounds belonged to another exhiibitor who shared the trip with Irena. We are proud of Audry.

Many congratulations. Having looked at the map (on the slideshow), looks to be a fair old trek but well worth the journey. Well done!

Yup, Russia is one big place alright! It has always been sort of Terra Obscura to me(having grown up in Cold War times). When we started to plan the trip to St. Petersburg, I got out a map and looked up some statistics--The Russian Federation even after all the break away countries post Soviet Union, is still the largest country in the world, larger than the US and Canada combined.
Irena wants me to go with her to St. Petersburg and Moscow one day. I'd like that too. Who knows, might even get to meet Slava. That would be fun.

HUGE congratulations to Irena, Fred and Audry! I am so proud of that little girl. Can't wait until I can finally get over there and see some of the amazing places you get to go.
Love and kisses from Wendy (and Daddy Phantom too)
