 Boomer had another lovely win last weekend with another Best in Group and another Runner/Up to Best in Show. This puts him second top Weimaraner to the wonderful Dash in the country. He is well and truly settled in his new home and we are having a lot of fun with him. We went to a training day a couple of weekends ago and did some field work and tracking. He found the 3 quail hidden in the long grass and pointed them. In the tracking I had no idea where the track was laid and he was going so fast around trees and all over the place I had trouble keeping up with him and then he stopped and pointed. There was a dead hare hidden behind some stubble which I had no idea was there. He won the encouragement award for tracking. It was a fun day. Now to some concentrated tracking.

Well done Carol and BOOMER. I have just caught up with the news having been away for a few days.
