ACT Gundog Specialty Shows

In conjunction with the Weimaraner Specialty shows held this weekend in Canberra, there were also two Gundog Specialty Shows which attracted a large entry of gundogs from many parts of Australia.

I do not have all the results of the Gundog Specialty Shows (perhaps Narelle has them??) but I would like to advise that Oska's mother, Aust/NZ Ch Ashlaren Crepe Suzette (Suzie) won

[glow=red,2,300]BEST IN SHOW[/glow]

at the first ACT Gundog Specialty Show (entry almost 150 Gundogs)

That made it a great weekend for Oska's parents here in Australia as his father, Aust Gr Ch Divani Just a Dash (Dash) won BEST IN SHOW at the second Weimaraner Specialty Show (entry 51 Weimaraners) held over the weekend!

Oska's young son, Ashlaren Reuben who is nearing his Australian Championship title, won JUNIOR IN SHOW at the second Weimaraner Specialty Show as well as Junior in Group at the All Breeds show held on Friday.

I guess everyone is tired like we are as it was a busy weekend!

Congratulations to all the winners and I hope everyone got back home safely.

No Patricia, I didn't take any photos of Suzie winning Best in Show.
Perhaps I should have taken some photos but I didn't think of it at the time as we were running between the Gundog ring and the Toy ring as my other daughter Julie-Anne has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Monty) which she shows and has been doing very well with - just a quick brag - he recently he went Runner up Best in Show at the NSW Cav Specialty show with an entry of 220 Cavaliers - he was only 7 months at the time!

OK I know this is a Weimaraner forum .......

Now back to the Weimaraners - Reuben has his first puppies due this month (with more litters pending).

If I get any photos of the Gundog show I will try and post them here for you guys.
