Big congratulations to Rookies son
NZ Ch Carnmellis Highlander (Yorick) on achieving his title today and then going on to win BEST IN SHOW all breeds.
Rookie is so proud of his boy. This makes 3 Champions from the same litter to Sh Ch/NZ Ch Sireva Chic owned by Pip Simmons.

Thanks for the congrats, yes Im very proud of Rookies son. Rookie has only had 4 litters so it is good to see the young stock coming through as winners.

Hi Lois
I was talking to Pip last night and we worked out that there have only been approx 17 times Weimaraners have gone BIS in NZ, and 4 Carnmellis owned Weimaraners have taken 8 of those awards. A fantastic achievement Im sure all will agree.

I had a very excited phone call from Pip in New Zealand on Saturday night telling me all the news about the show held in Auckland that day! Congratulations again Pip on this big win under the Canadian judge also congratulations to Cyd and Rookie for playing a part in the breeding of Yorick!

I have been a member of this group for some time but haven't put anything on it myself. It seems that my friends always do it for me.
I would like to thank everyone who has responded to Cyd's posting about the Best In Show win in New Zealand of Ch Carnmellis Highlander that I have enjoyed as a breeder and co-owner with Kim Osborne. As you might imagine the bubbles have been flowing as it is many years since Nina's 3rd BIS.
Unfortunately the photo taken on the day is ..... and not worth putting up on this site, however I do have some recent ones that I'll get Cyd to tell me how to put them on.
Thanks again to all that have responded.
