Oh, thanks guys, I only just saw this!!! My computer has been in 'hospital'. No viruses - a victim of the drought we have here. It was totally full of dust!!! It is SO much faster now, although it doesn't help our net speed - that is 28.8Kbps. Sometimes I think a mouse in a wheel would be faster!
Phantom's title journey was about as long as Gone With The Wind. He has been out of the ring for a year, due to the fact that I can't show him myself. It is all because of my legs. Short and fat and fortyfive! My friend Lyn decided to take him home with her to be with her girl Dana as they just lost their Kyla at 15 years, and Dana was missing her badly. She wouldn't even walk in the yard at night alone. Phantom has the sweetest, bounciest nature and can cheer up anyone, so off he went. While he was there, Lyn decided to show him and he only needed 14 points. She got exactly that. Mind you, she didn't actually get to show him in the show he got his title in as she fell in the ring, landed on her fist (!) and broke her own rib! She tried the next show, and was in great pain. So a friend of hers, who actually shows Irish Setters, handled him to his last BOB. Only a dog that I owned could have such a disaster!
I took some photos there by the river (it actually had water in it!) and will post it when I have time to put it on one of those sites.
So at least he was titled when Audry had his grandkids in Latvia!! Wendy

Well, poor Lyn also pulled a muscle in her leg while training him, and so is out of the ring with her own girl for a while. I have arthritis, and with having a boarding kennel, I usually have scratches or bruises. Labradores who want to say 'hi' are an occupational hazzard! I am sure that most of them never see a lead except to come here. Lyn is usually the fit and healthy one, so it is rest time for her!

LOL, labs tails are also house cleaners! I never had a coffee table while we had our yellow labs! Come to think on it, I still don't have one...
Sorry to hear of aches and pains for you and Lyn, I've been feeling my right knee going up stairs after eating so much ice cream this winter! You're young yet, Wendy:) I'm six 3/4 years ahead of you and somewhere after you hit fifty, everything changes for a bit, or at least I'm still hopeful my mind and self returns to normal...;(
