Today we got fantastic news from Nina & Duncan ...Anya - Ch Rio Concha Fala Love'a was placed 2nd and received Cruft's 2008 qualification in limit bitches class under Australian judge Mrs. Carol Wright (Grauhund kennel). It was the Weimaraner Specialty Show organized by the North of England Weimaraner Society with 186 weims entries! BRAVO Alkemist! Nina has some lovely pics so hope she will add them soon

Thanks Magda, here is the picture of Anya Hope it works hehe. It was great to get a Crufts Qualification on 'home turf ;D Anya was in season and she really did not want to be there, but despite this, she did us proud. Nina and Duncan here's another one too, same style but maybe less fuzzy

Wow, you're on a roll! Well done. Shame the stud book bands changed that would have been her stud book number (!!!!) but I am sure that won't be long off. Many congratulations!

Thanks Class Definitions Minor Puppy For dogs of 6 and not exceeding 9 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show Puppy For dogs of 6 and not exceeding 12 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show Junior For dogs of 6 and not exceeding 18 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show Yearling For dogs of 12 and not exceeding 24 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show Special Yearling For dogs of 6 and not exceeding 24 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show Novice For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or 3 or more First Prizes at Open and Championship Shows (Minor Puppy, Special Minor Puppy, Puppy and Special Puppy classes excepted, whether restricted or not). Graduate For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or 4 or more First prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post-Graduate, Minor-Limit, Mid-Limit, Limit, and Open classes, whether restricted or not. Post-Graduate For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or 5 or more First prizes at Championship Shows in Post-Graduate, Minor-Limit, Mid-Limit, Limit, and Open classes, whether restricted or not. Limit For dogs which have not won 3 Challenge Certificates under 3 different judges or 7 or more First prizes in all, at Championship Shows in Limit, and Open classes, confined to the breed, whether restricted or not, at Shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. Open For all dogs of the breed, for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show. Veteran For all dogs not less than 7 years of age on the first day of the Show. Special Working For dogs which have been awarded a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or Certificate of Merit in any Field Trial, or which hold a 'Show Gundog Working Certificate'. Dogs may also qualify which have been awarded a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in any Assessment Test or Working Test within the same year of the Show or the previous year.

Thank you for that Claire. Hopefully Kobie that covers your question but if not ask away. Anya will be in Open in the UK in future, as she has now won her way out of Limit, this is completely different to the open classes in Europe, which she has just won out of, into Champions class
