More weims than we have homes for

Duncan 12 mth old castrated male lived with teens ok to be left for 2/3 hours, doesn’t like black dogs.

Oscar 8 yr castrated male lived with baby and toddler. Ok left alone 4 hours. Ok with other dogs but will pull towards

Blue 8 mth old entire male. Not lived with kids. Ok other dogs. Never really been left alone

Leo 12 mth old castrated male, not lived with kids, living with litter brother and as a pair do not like other dogs when on the lead. Vetter thinks he will be ok when in a home without his brother.

Jake, 12 mth old entire male (litter brother to Leo), he is the more dominant of the 2 and would benefit from a one to one home. They are not left alone very much and when they are they are caged. (they are crate trained).

Kaiser 5 mth old entire male, already on his third home. He has only been in this new home for 2 weeks and does not appear to be housetrained, but this could be stress related. Not lived with kids. Needs training and doesn’t travel very well in the car.

Jensen 2 yr old castrated male living with kids of 16,14 & 9. The whife has MS and she cant cope with the dog as he barks a lot, He is never left alone. He has a grass allergy and has injections to curb this.

Star 2 yr old spayed bitch, not lived with kids and ok with other dogs out for a walk. She is living with a jack russell bitch and does not get on with her. She is very food possessive.

Trinity 2 yr old entire bitch, she needs some training and is very nervous of other dogs as she was attacked when younger. She will now go in first. She is placid and indifferent to visitors. She hates cats and will attack.

Milly 2 yr old entire bitch living with 3 other weims (2 bitches and a dog), She is the youngest bitch and does not get on with the 5 yr old bitch, they are fighting but she is fine with the older bitch and dog. She has not lived with kids. Millys owner is also looking to rehome the 8 yr old spayed bitch.

Flash 9 mth old male, no background info as he came from animal shelter, seems like a friendly dog and needs some training.

Sultan 2 yr male, protective of the home, not lived with kids

NONE OF THE DOGS HAVE LIVED WITH CATS

This is probably the one and only time I have wished I still lived in the UK.

I hope you're able to find a place to live for them! I'll spread the word where I can.

Thank you I appreciate that. I put the list on Dogpages and have had quite a few replies so fingers crossed some homes will come available from that.

Hi Lynn, the weim that is allergic to grass; it can be fed a spoon (teaspoon) of honey, local honey once a day, and it will not have symptoms. My Slade came to me as a rescue because of his grass or pollen allergic reaction, not pretty... now I have him symptom free with the honey but need to make sure the horse flies do not bite him because he is so sweet, in every sense... Honey is a perfect natural remedy indeed, but beware. It should be sterilised, in order to prevent the dog from getting botuline toxine (botulism, sp?). One of my dogs had that, not funny I can assure you.
