A beautiful, almost 2 year old, pedigreed LH male is looking for a new home. Reason is that his owners are divorced. The woman won't take him and the man can't have him b/c he's working 24/7. The dog is used to somewhat older kids and cats, can be left alone for a couple of hours, is obedient and very sweet. If you are interested, contact me at my e-mail address and I'll put you through to the owner!

...that is a pitty, he is really beautiful! Hope you will find a good home for him soon.
Maybe you should give also some information about his pedigree. Has he done show/hunting?

I'm pretty sure he's "just" a pet dog and nothing else. I'm not even sure if his hips are scored. For more info e-mail me.

I think at his age, he might easily make the trip to Alaska to hunt and fish with us:)

I don't know Sian. I had two people interested and I've sent their details to the owner of the dog. Haven't heard from him..... This dog is a half-brother of your future puppy btw (same mom).

Yes, some good news! He has found a new home last weekend, with a lovely SH bitch. The new owners live in a forest and have loads of ground. A happy ending for this lad!

Oh - I'm so pleased to hear that he's found a new home! If we weren't so close to getting a new puppy, I think we would have thought very long and hard about giving him a home here in Belgium.... This happy news has been a lovely start to my day!! Sian

Brilliant news, on the subject of rescue there is a long haired male who has been through a very traumatic time that is looking for a forever home in the UK. He is 8 years old and sadly his owner has died, a relative took him on but their own weimaraner has attacked him so he has now lost an eye and is very traumatised. If anyone can offer him a retirement home with lots of tlc please contact Margarita at the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain.
This chap really does deserve a lovely home.
