Well it is good to tell summer is here.... nearly the long holidays...... dogs in rescue going up and up and up again..
I have 6 to rehome and Margarita had 18 at the last count.
Homes desperately needed!

Good grief. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but how do you house/kennel all the dogs until they can be rehomed? I will let you know if I get any enquiries.

Oh dear - same old story - holidays, can't be bothered with the dogs.
Hope that you find homes for them all.
I can short term foster so long as it is a dog/bitch Zola will get on with and can definitely help in an emergency as I can segregate quite easily.
Good luck Lynn and Margarita and all other rescuers

Hi, The dogs are mostly kept in their own homes until new homes are found. There are the odd ones that the owners wont/dont want to keep and these are the ones we are forced into putting into kennels (sometimes it feels like we are blackmailed). They say "well if you cant take the dog today then we will take it to the local dog pound".
Thanks Karen for your offer to short term foster. Where abouts are you? Maybe we could set up a section of the site for people to leave details if they would like to volunteer to help vetting dogs and homes or fostering. marjolein would that be possible?
Thanks Lynn

Same sad story - why cant' people think before they buy? With our puppies we take on a lifetime committment that somehow does not sink in with loads of people. Hope you will be able to re-home them all quickly. Sorry, but I can't really be of any use to you - distance is just a little too much!

Yes I realise that most are left in situ before rehoming. I just know that poor Belle was in kennels for 5 weeks ( partly due to her season) before I could have her.
I am in Crowthorne, Berkshire - M3/M4 corridor

Hi, Yes I can get the posters up in the local vets, pet shops and one at training class if that helps. Can I download them?
