A really very good friend of mine who had her first Weim from me many moons ago is looking to re-home a youngish boy (she lives in Kent, so preferably southern England). Her boy had a fab life and reached the grand age of 14. She has been without any dogs for the past several years due to personal circumstances, but feels that the timing is right for them now. They live in the country side, have a large garden and love long walks. If anyone knows of a suitable boy in need of a very loving home, could you pm me?

Sieglinde ask them to get in touch with Margarita I'm sure that the club will be able to help find a suitable candidate for them.

Tasha, I think that Weimaraner rescue have got a number of hoops for any new owner to jump through and I know that on the 6 ft fencing they will fall down at the moment. They have a very large garden which leads onto open fields with beautiful views, but in part it only has a 3 or 4ft fence. My friend works from home though and loves her country walks (not much fun without a doggy). Any dog that is in a loving home with plenty of excercise will not have the urge to escape over a lesser then 6ft fence in my opinion when their contact person is always around. I am waiting for them to ring me back later and depending on what they say, I might ring Margarita tonight or tomorow and explain where they are coming from. Besides having had a pup from me many years ago who lived to over 14 years, they also took on a rescue from Battersea as a little friend for him. Lola was 18 months old when they brought her home and already had 5 homes!!! They were very patient and committed with her and she also lived to well over 14 years old. I hope that the fence will not become a stumbling block, as they can get a dog from anywhere without this requirement. I would rather they reduced the very high number of Weims needing a forever home!!

I have put Allbreeds in touch with a home for Monte. They had a rehomed dog from me about 10 years ago & he has since died. The lady is at home all day Margarita
