how disappointing we get alot of that here too. For the african Weimaraner Club you could try www.weimaraner.co.za/about-the-klub/ they have three dogs looking for homes via rescue at the moment not sure if they will export to you but if not they might be able to put you in touch with a breeder. If not there are other breeders that will ship puppies but the shorter the distance the better for the dog.

Hi Tasha, I`m an American living in southern Italy, looking to adopt a Weimaraner. I already had 1 in the states - family per - whom I Still miss terribly. I`m looking for a young male, not neutered, as a companion. I am not looking to stud him, but to train as a companion and for personal protection. I also need him young as I need to train him to also love my 3 Siamese. I am an animal activist working to help AnimalSaviors, Swiss Animal Protection, and PETA to help stop the fur industry in China, and am Infamous here where I live for helping and healing animals. Please advise. Thanks much, Danilia 0039 338 946 8619 Dcapr@email.com FB - danilia cruise

Hey All, and Ciao, My search continues. Thanks to you all here, I had a lead on a 5 mth old Weim in France but, fortunately for him, his family decided to keep him and change their relocation plans. I am Happy for the dog. But must admit to a bit of disappointment for myself. I was excited about the pup! So please, if anyone knows of a Weim to be rescued let me know. My vet here assures me all I need is a pet passport to bring him/ her into Italy if we can`t find one here- yes, already talked with my vet. As I said previously, I Am Serious About This. Any and all help appreciated. Best regards, Danilia Dcapr@email.com 0039 338 946 8619

I understand that you spoke to Gill robson last night & as the dog would only be kept in the porch she declined your offer of a home
I have had another enquiry from Italy with 11 dogs some entire some castrated plus a menagerie of animals

Ciao Margarita, thank you for replying sooo quickly. I did indeed speak with Gill Robson, but informed her that the dog would be on the patio, and in my home. I slip back and forth from English and Italian so much that sometimes I don`t always express myself at my best, also I was excited to be speaking with her, and also disturbed to be interrupting her holiday. My last Weim, in fact All my cats and dogs over the years have commandeered on my bed - although hopefully not all at the same time. I am very interested. Did I understand you correctly, there is news of some Weims in Italy for rescue??!! Will call you today by telephone, if that is ok. Thank you very much, Mille grazie, Danilia
