Hello!

Being of a younger generation (no offence) I visit a sit called MySpace very often, ppl in the U.S and U.K will probably have heard of it more, but is available for everyone in the world.

I was searching the groups and noticed that there wasn't one for Weimaraners.

I decided that i wanted to share my love of Weimies in more than one place so made a mini forum there.

Although you will have to make a myspace account to make posts and such like, i think that a wider spread talk of weimaraners will help with it's popularity, even though it is very popular and make people more aware of how amazing they are.

It could also bring new members to this forum.

If you're thinking "o no, i cant be bothered to make a profile" you could use it as a shrine for your weimy or as their very own profile page.

I would really appreciate if people would at least consider joining........

i dont want to be the only one in the group with no one to talk to!

rox alot of us use myspace but not for our dogs its more music and the art driven and an excellent space for getting work if your a band photographer like me. its also a site for all ages... we aren't all that old you know

there are lots of weimaraner forums about some very good ones like this one, the weimaraner.tv website and several others that you might want to join, lots of weimaraner owners and genuinely doggy people that you can share things with

I was trying to register there some months ago but no one of my email addresses didn't fit, don't know why they were banned so I couldn't register there...

Hi Jurate,

that will probably be because you only have "free" e-mail addresses, maybe? I know that the weimaraner.tv forum didn't like my hotmail, or gmail accounts. But it did accept my btopenworld account (which I have to pay £1 a month for). If you have a paid-for account, try using that to register. Once that you can be recognised as a "real" member, rather than a "spammer", they will then change your settings to your free e-mail.

just saw this tonight.. my comment as one of the older generations.. myspace accounts can lead to many problems. I have teens who have these accounts and the abilty for many people to just open the web page and look at things is very disconcerting. As a dog owner and a parent I do not want people looking at my dog or my kids on the net. With pics, names and other things any dog show or other place any one who has a desire to think they know your dog could call his name or try to get him ot come to them. Also, broadcasting the breed may give people the wrong impression. I am sure you will put wonderful pics of you and your dog, but that is only a small piece of what a dog owner does.. be very careful!

Jurate, if you go to Tiscali's home page, you can open an email account there, free weim.tv will accept that

I opened my weim tv acc with a gmail account and had no problems. My problem was that stupid paypal does not recognise Saudi so I had to get my brother to pay and pay him back. Real pain in the bum!

Some of us oldies also have myspace accounts .... just so we can keep up to date with friends!
