Hi! I thought it would be fun to make a thread where everyone could post their favorite picture of their dog. This is my favorite picture of Atlas.

Gee, THAT is a difficult question!!! Audry is a living picture as it is, I absolutely love watching her whatever she does. Here is one where she is being just plain goofy: And I really like this one, she is 5.5 months old in this one:

Thanks Ilana, he is not too bad is he, even as a baby? The movement I noticed from when he was a baby too- sound coming and going. I like that! I think he has managed to keep it too- here's a grownup picture: When he was in America and won a Specialty there, that is what the judge (James Reynolds) said he liked so much. James Reynolds can come to my house and have dinner anytime ;D Kate

That's a lovely photo of your dog Atlas Ingvild! Is that a long tail I see? I know you hunt with your dog, so how does he hold it when he is on point? Can you send us a pointing photo if you have one?
Kate

Hi! I love the puppy pictures! More, more!! Thank you Kate! Yes it's a long tail. Docking is banned in Norway. He holds his tail differantly dipending on where the bird is. It actually comes in real handy because I can tell if the bird is close or far, off to the right or left, if he's uncertain and so on. His tail is also a good way of telling me what he is working on (before he is on point). We hunt in a place we can find differant types of birds and I can often tell by his tail what type of bird it is. I try to remeber these things while I am picking up the pieces of broken glass around the house and trying to "tail proof" our house Luckily he hasn't had much trouble with his tail (only watter tail once), but allot of Weimaraners keep baning their tail til it bleeds. Here are a couple af pointing pictures: (I've circled inn the willow ptarmigan in front of him) His tail is slightly lower then in the picture bellow and "with a twist" to the left. He's pointing pheasent and it's in the brush close to him. His tail is higher. The bird is a good distance off. He's pointing a bird I'm not sure what is called in English. Uhhm I guess I got a bit carried away with the poitning photos..Hope that's OK
