Starting from today, for the next 10 days (including Friday November the 4th) every member may enter one picture, of which they (or their family) are the author, in the November photo contest. Voting for the pictures starts November 5th, ends Nov 10th. The winning picture will then be displayed in our forum banner with the details of the dog, owner, etc. If you wish, please feel free to provide a title for your picture. The theme of our November Photo Contest is: Hunting with the Weimaraner Marjolein who picked the theme of this contest says that hunt test, trial and training pics are also welcome, as long as the idea of hunting is there. Bloodtracking pics too, of course. Just a technical reminder about where you can host pictures (if you don't already have a place on the web):
www.tinypic.com imageshack.us/index3.php foto.radikal.ru
Please not that you will not be able to delete your picture from their servers, as you do not need an account to host a picture with these particular sites.
Please feel free to ask if you have any difficulty posting your picture. It is also described in the topics at the top of the picture section. We'll be glad to help!

Well I had to think first which I should place. But my choice is this one: The first time of Vidar retrieving a gull. He had really troubles with that big birds with their long wings And his swimming wasn't the best at that time as well. So it is quit funny how he came out of the water with that long wing in his mouth.

WOW so many great pictures!! I had a hard time making up my mind, but ended up deciding on this picture. It is taken last October hunting in Tynset. Atlas is pointing willow ptarmigan (I've circled the bird in on the left.) I like this picture a lot because you can actually see the bird and it was taken at the end of the most perfect day of hunting. I think this day was probably the best day I have ever had with Atlas. Sorry I'm rambling on Here is the picture.A lot of you have seen it before, but I hope that is OK.

I have the problem I'm always too late to take a good photograph of Bill pointing ! Because he is pointing far in the field on field trials, and I have no camera who can zoom so far
