Soooo, the theme of our December Photo Contest was "DECEMBER", as chosen by one of the winners of the November photo contest, Ingvild. Voting thus starts today (Nov 26) and ends Nov 30 (when it's evening on the West Coast of the USA or so, because we have members there too!). * it is only technically possible for each member to vote once for a picture of their choice among this month's entries * please do not vote for your own entry The entries can be see here: euroweims.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=pics&action=display&thread=1132070186&page=1There are TWO pages of pictures in that thread! OK, let's vote then!!

I seem to have completely missed out on voting and didn't see any post...also there doesn't seem to be the number of votees equivalent to how many members we have on the forum...is there some way we can ensure everyone gets a chance to vote? Is an email able to go out to everyone separately prompting a vote? I know I have got emails from the forum before ... this might encourage more voters and like I say, I have completely missed the post about voting... Narelle

Hello Narelle, I seem to have completely missed out on voting and didn't see any post... Sorry about that. I believe it says on all contest threads about the dates the voting will start and finish. No, and there never will be. There are members that registered, made a couple of posts and left. It would be nice to have them visit too but we can't make anyone visit more often or vote. Everybody has a chance to vote. We have not banned any member of this board from voting. If some members choose to visit less often and miss a thing or two, that's just too bad, I guess. I believe there was one just the other week asking more members to enter their pictures, and then again another email just another day encouraging people to check in and leave a post. We can't send those emails out too often though because we don't want to achieve the opposite effect and divert everyone from the forum because we bugged them too much. But we may just send out a separate email about voting next time if that helps any.[/quote] Also there is the fact that the moderators are all only humans too. We are not paid for running this board and we do sometimes have other things in life going on. Like right now Marjolein is leaving for England and I am staying in Norway and do not plan to return home any time soon. So I can hardly check in at all. Fred (Wetdog) is still around and so must be Sylvia but they can't take care of everything on the board either. Sorry about any inconveniences and we'll be trying to do our best, as usual.

It just said 'December' for the theme for December Narelle. Just thought we would have some funny pics of Christmas Day to show.
