Fantastic photo's and a gorgeous dog.
I notice you say it's an A litter and they are 3.5 years. That's interesting as in France, last year was an A year. Is it different in each country?

Great pics Kristina! @inicole, the breeder decides what letter the litter has to start with. We usually use a for the first litter and then b and then....... We don't have country-rules here for dogs.

Hi and thank you for your nice comments about Ahanu ! I got the pics from his owner, she has taken them
Nicole, In Sweden we deside ourselves how to name our pups. I have a system of naming them first litter- A-litter, second litter - B-litter and so on. But you don´t have to do it that way, you can give them just the names you like
I know you name the trottinghorses with with the same initial letters the same year they are born. We don´t do that in Sweden either.
Is it the same with the dogs in France when you registrate them ?
regards Kristina

Great pics Kristina! the breeder decides what letter the litter has to start with. We usually use a for the first litter and then b and then....... You must have a lot of dogs there with names starting with A and not many starting with Z! In France, the tradition is that every year is a certain letter. It's not obligatory, but most follow it. Some will add a second call name. In which case, it would be written, eg. Tommy, dit Tex. Note, Ellie wasn't born here, so we didn't follow the lettering. This year in France is "B"

Sort of like the woman who asked a guy his name and he told her "I'm called Tex." "Oh", she said, "Are you from Texas?" He said, "No, actually I was born in Maryland, but I"d rather be called Tex."
